On the back of the picture, with a ball point pen or pencil (if using
ink, be sure to place paper between pictures to prevent ink smear), write
the name of the book or frame that you got it from. Do not press hard
or you may damage your picture. As you go selecting the pictures,
try to find any underlying themes that may connect certain pictures. It
is important to pick a well-rounded cross section of your photo library.
Action pictures are great as are studio photographs, however, too much
of one type of picture can get boring. Also, because selecting favorite
pictures of your loved one is subjective; it can sometimes be difficult
to choose pictures that serve their purpose within the collage. Its
great to have a picture of a special private moment, but others may be
unaware of the pictures significance to you so you will want to
incorporate pictures that are easily understood.
We accept pictures in the following formats: hard copy, negatives,
35 mm slides, digital images on cd or via email, and others. If
you are not sure if your format is acceptable, give us a call. Additionally,
we can clean up and/or remove damage from the pictures that may
have occurred over time.
